Trey Wiley

Corydon Central High School

Trey Wiley, a 2025 graduate of Corydon Central High School, was selected for the Live Like Bryce Gerlach Scholarship for his resilience, leadership, and the deep friendship he shared with Bryce. A captain in both varsity tennis and basketball, Trey earned All-Conference and MVP honors while also mentoring younger athletes and giving back through youth coaching and community service.

A member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Youth Leadership Harrison County, Trey leads with quiet strength and compassion. His personal journey was marked by adversity, faith, and unwavering loyalty to those he loves which mirrors the spirit in which Bryce lived.

Trey will attend Indiana State University, carrying with him Bryce’s memory and the values they shared: working hard, staying grounded, and showing up for others with heart. As he puts it, “When I’m feeling like I can’t go on, I’ll hear Bryce say, ‘Wiley, come on man, you’re fine.’”
